How We Rate Sweepstakes Casinos
Every casino on Sweepoffers gets a rating out of 5. Here is what goes into it, and where our information comes from.
What we score
- Free value: the no-purchase welcome bonus, daily login rewards and other free Sweeps Coins you can collect without buying anything.
- Redemptions: minimum redemption for gift cards and cash, payout methods, how long payouts take, and limits or caps.
- Terms: playthrough requirements (1x is standard; higher is worse), coin expiry, and any rules that make it harder to redeem free coins.
- Games: size of the library, quality of the studios, live dealer and table games, and apps.
- Trust: who runs the casino and what else they operate, how long it has been running, player complaints, and warnings from regulators or watchdogs.
- Availability: how many states the casino accepts players from.
Where our information comes from
We read each casino's own terms, sweepstakes rules and promotions pages, and cross-check them against independent reviews, player reports and regulator announcements. Where sources disagree, we say so on the page or use the more cautious figure. Where we have tested a casino ourselves, the review says so.
What lowers a rating
Unresolved complaints about cancelled or unpaid redemptions, high playthrough on free coins, caps that stop free players from redeeming, unclear ownership, and gambling-style terms such as "deposits". Some casinos we decline to list at all, for example operators with a record of refusing redemptions.
Lists and rankings
Our "best for" lists, such as fastest payouts and lowest minimum redemption, are calculated from the same data for every casino, so a casino cannot buy its place. The order of our homepage list reflects our overall rating and editorial judgment.
Commissions
We earn a commission from some casinos when you sign up through our links. Commissions never change a rating or the facts we publish. See our affiliate disclosure and editorial policy.
